OMG, haven't had one like this for awhile.
Have a rasher and sausage sandwich. With grated cheese. And ketchup.
i think i ate a bagel last night when i got home.. so no bread. i do have eggies tho. hmmm. i've been so good for so long.
and tonight a house party. christ. okay.. i can do this...
If that doesn't cure you, nothing will.
Its natures snickers.
i drank a lot of cider and white wine last night. it was fun tho... ended up in bardens and Bum Bum was on... lots of fancy dress and Jackson was going crazy trying on people's outfits and literally climbing the walls.. we were staggering by then. I have some hilarious shots. I think I tried to chat up someone in a bear suit / head.
DO NOT go to the jazz bar ever again tho - I had a fight with the bar guy who tried to serve me a martini in a wine glass.. like, wtf? i wasn't paying for that.
before that The Royal Oak... before that.. home... argh.
I used to go to the jazz bar years ago and did a bit more recently but last night, it was just shit - even the paint in the bathrooms looked shit. I think the owner (that arsehole) has let the place slip dramatically. Martini's in cheap, shitty wine glasses really pissed me off.. I won't set foot in there again until they sort it out.
Sometimes I wish I'd invest my energy into opening a little wine bar / jazz club but I think my alcoholism would flourish in such surroundings. Maybe one day. I'd model it on a Melbourne wine bar - they get their bars very right in that city - and open one up here in London. Maybe that's my plan? Hmmm.
I knows it.
that's for sure. But would find you something to do, that's for sure. How's your cocktail making experience, and can you pour a decent pint?
I'm a dab hand at it.
Cocktails I'm not bad at but can get better.
Wine I know nothing but I'm willing to learn.
but you will have to move to East London. Or London. Easy.
and I'd have a go every now and then. Small, quietish, with a small stage for some live music sometimes...
A bit different to Prague but yeah, Paul is HOTTT and doesn't drink and makes the best cocktails in the world. HIRED. OK.
Who else? If the smoking ban wasn't on there'd be ciggarette girls a go go...
Maybe a jazz bar without being able to smoke Cubans just SUX.
I have to rethink this.
Down and out Jacks?
I haven't been in there for ages, tho. I might have to pay a visit soon...
I haven't seen the card tricks, tho.
Whose the new guy who works there? Youngish and I think might be Austalian? He's quite good too ie service, smile, and knows how to mix a good drink.
I love those pics - reminds my time/s in Thailand.
I think The Kitten Club is cool - lounge, late 50s and 60s... Think SINATRA. I could get Bobby to do cabaret sessions there.
And yeah - Shoreditch is old news. London Fields is where I'd go. Possibly even Dalston or further 'east' (not Stokey).
I gotta go eat.. This is crazy. ARGH.
when I have enough money anyway.
Hmmm. Business plan time.
ANYONE GOT ANY CASH TO GIVE ME?
Flash Theo Paphititphis and promise him the blood of one young virgin at each new moon. His vampiric ways will take over and you'll be in there.
right next to the Camera Cafe. I was quite excited by this revelation. I plan on orchestrating a bacchanalian (sp) experience quite soon.
You are all invited,
I have a fascination with the occult. In another life time I am sure I was a witch burned at the stake (I have been told this before by someone kooky).
Nearly at my post mark!!
those 200 odd posts would take me literally months...
isn't toothpaste for love bites (thinks)..?
that'll sort it right out
and put that on it. it'll work way better than toothpaste.
go for a walk in the morning and sit in the park. does wonders.
2. One slice of white, nibbled slowly
3. Diarolyte (no really - sorts out all the salts/liquid your body's trying to recover)
yeah if a soleros within range thats the best option.
Banana smoothies are what you want since a hangover is caused by dehydration and a lowering in your body's levels of magnesium and potasium (bananas are rich in both).
and rooibosch tea.
That kind of worked.
A bath will now complete the process.
glass of lemonade, some strong cheddar, and a copy of Hangover Square. all bound to make you feel better. fry-up, i find, only works first thing. otherwise it's not worth it, it'll just make you feel sick and sluggish.
do some excercise
write off the day
