I am trying to go on a site (Simpsons site...you can create yourself in Simpson form), and when I go on it, it says I need to install the new Flash for it to work. So, I installed the latest version of Flash, closing all other browser windows like it told me to. The movie and message popped up telling me that it installed successfully. Went back to Simpsons site, and it tells me I need to install Flash for it to work...try again, same thing happens. Read all troubleshooting stuff, and made sure that Adobe and Macromedia are in my "allow" lists, updated IE to number 7, turned on automatic updates. Tried again, it didn't work.... I have a number of viruses on here (the porn ones which pop up repeatedly and randomly), but does anyone have a solution to this? It also means that I can't listen to music on Myspace, or do anything else which needs Flash. Any help much appreciated, thanks.
