Tube train derailed on central line
BBC News reporting that hundreds of people are trapped on the train.
TfL website more somberly says “Suspended between Leytonstone and Liverpool Street due to a faulty train in the Mile End area. Minor delays are occurring on the rest of the line.”
i was on the central line when someone got trapped under the train once
very strange.
I bet they have to eat someone
like in some film called Alive.
I bet they all end up really hot and sweaty
and have to take their clothes off and have sex like in.... doesn't matter.
I bet it's godzilla.
i bet vin diesel is down there with them
I bet Dawn
goes into labour....
I bet
the was a gremlin on the wing mirror
my friend was stuck on an underground train for 2 hours
she didn't talk to anyone, and she didn't have a book or an iPod.
I <3 London
I was once on a First Great Western train
that derailed just outside Southall station at about 120mph. I was scared shitless. But I got £200 for my pain and anguish.
would have gone for more on ebay
aye
thats twice in two weeks ive got on the tube at snaresbrook to be told its suspended. this could mean the central line being fucked for weeks again.
just been told there's loads of police cars down there....
do you reckon it's defo derailed?!
or blwon up
is it weird that
this immediately causes me to congratulate myself for the fact that, despite travelling on the eastern section of the central line most days, I am not overly worried about such things happening in future, and have not once troubled myself with the thought 'it could have been me'?
Stand by for Episode 2: The One Where I Feel Momentarily Smug About 'Not Being That Arsed' About Terrorists.
I use the Central line and was annoyed when I couldnt' get from Leyton to Stratford
selfish trains.
I think not being able to get to Stratford should be seen as something good.
Always.
...
You should walk it, you fat bastard.
Who DOES care about Terrorists?
Probably PocketMouse but the rest of us are happy to risk our lives by freezing bread / using escalators / breathing / etc.
hey
dont be mean!
..
Surely this is worthy of an IMPORTANT theWARNING?
allow
terrorists. So boring and hackneyed.
I went past Mile End
at 11am. There's about 30 police cars and emergency vehicle response units and fire engines. I honestly thought a bomb had gone off.
I hope people aren't hurt :(
30 police cars for a derailed train?
Bloody hell- I suppose with the terror threat level being what it is they have to treat it as suspicious.
I love the fact we all have DiSers scattered across the country
ready to confirm facts at a moment's notice.
GO TERRA!
...
Ah, god dammit. I could've got about 3 hours off work had I just left later. Bullshit.
3 hours
packed in with a bunch of narky southerners.
*horny narky southerners
...
I have no idea what narky means. Possibly because I am a southerner.
Also, come to think Tuesday evening, I was in the Liverpool Street area - crawling with cops.
They're up to something...
This made me late
Thanks knobheads
there were 3 men being escorted away i handcuffs at liverpool street yesterday
and i saw a couple of guys in different places there with their bags open and police talking into walkie talkies next to them.
i dont know what my point is.
There's a massive police presence
everywhere at the mo.
Anyway, the bbc says this:
