is anyone here from Bristol or near Bristol?
moribund, fullerov, jimmyhuntspill, scarecrow, heartbrokenstar and more.
he's from bristol no?
Relegated to "and more".
you're not from the south-west.
But it's bloody miles away to Bristol. But there was a mini DiS meet up in Exeter last night.
£7.50 on a train one-way.
"well, it'll take me about a day and several thousand dollars, but sure. i'm near bristol."
but my band 4 or 5 Magicians is playing there on Tuesday July 10th with The Strange Death of Liberal England and Seagull Strange and it would be wonderful if you would come and watch us play :-D !! We really don't have a lot of friends down in the south west as we've never been there before and it would be great if some friendly people would come and support us!
they were pretty much the funnest band that played zonino 2.5.
actually, did i do my thankyous to you? i think i tried...
still, thanks! you were ace :D
that was a great way to end our tour!
i meant to write "no, thank you!" rather than "no worries". I'm not sure you'd be worried about anything!
I'll see you when you play Cardiff. July is going to be a skinty month I think.
We'll be organising a big tour for October/November time so i'll be in touch about that sometime if you are!
i won't be booking the bands for it generally though. HOWEVER, I recommended you to the guy who will be doing the majority of the booking and he liked what he heard, so let me know and I'm sure we can try and sort something out.
i have work until 9.30 but will come if the venue is close enough and the times make it worthwhile.
and although i go back a fair bit i can't go on a week day. but yes 4 or 5 magicians are well worth this jag
now. does that actually count, or do i have to live a distance away?
Five minutes' walk from Temple Meads. Beat that.
see your name in the listings and had made a note. I hope to be there!
past the run-down victorian esplanade at Weston-Super-Mare and onto the more runned-downed seafront at Burnham-on-Sea...there was me for so many years!
Am well Bristol my baba.
