i think i want someone who has a really really good film on dvd.
but I'm already having someone else over for dinner. my friend ryan, you met him once.
it'll save you cooking.
Or just send Ryan over on his own. Two birds one stone.
i'm ill (not contagious) and my girlfriend has gone away and therefore can't cook for me.
Plus I'm excellent company.

depends if theyre veggie or not really. might buy a butternut squash? make a soup?
What time shall I come over?
any time around 7?
left over from yesterday and i'm going top it with toasted almonds and parmesan
waitrose or some crap?
also, last time you came to mine i tried to sex you, so i dont blame you.
i dont recognise the name
i cant afford to cook for people and i need to program some demos and shit.
also i hate you all
i'd make loads of buffet style food. My best dish is sunday roast though. I make rice and peas and everything.
with peas in it
and everyone was like "THATS NOT RICE AND PEAS" and i cried
not garden peas ewwwwwwwwww that's like chinese chippy stuff isn't it. It requires a bit of prep, the real thing, don't know if someone wih such a short attention span could handle it :P
basically ---- you put some red kidney beans in a pot, cover the peas with cold water then leave on the stove to boil.
When peas start to boil they rise up a bit so you must put a small cup of water on top to sink them and turn the fire low.
The peas must then be left covered and you must check to see when they get soft. You can do this by squeezing a couple between your fingers but be careful, they're hot.
Once peas are cooked, add a cupful of milk to pot, some chopped onions and some dried thyme,a few garlic cloves, all will give it flavour. Turn fire up to let this boil in for say one minute.
Add washed basmati rice to the pot, stir carefully. Now cover.
Make sure that there is still water in the pan as the steam cooks the rice. If at any point you notice there is too little add a bit more, less than a full cup say a quarter. Keep covered and check at intervals to make sure rice is soft. If you can squeeze it between your fingers and it squashes it is cooked but check a few grains as sometimes it is only partially done.
Once rice is perfectly soft, turn fire off and remove lid or partially open lid so it doesn't continue to cook.
Now serve with carribean style chicken and veg or salad mmmmmmmmm.
Next time, pineapple punch.
