if someone stops returning your calls and after 2 weeks you leave them a message saying "fine, you're dumped then!" you might be able to convince yourself that you ended it!!
relationship. the sad thing is, no matter how good friends the person was and still is, i think, it's never gonna be as smooth as one would like to believe.
I've officially broken up face to face with all of them. cos I'm nice like that.
except one over the phone cos we lived hundreds of miles apart. and one was just by mutual agreement that we weren't going to stay together once we left uni.
but character building inna long term... If it didn't happen now, it'd happen later on with someone much more important and much nicer - and that really would suck...
woah, honesty and generosity of character?... must be something wrong with me -think I'll call in sick...
i've had friends who've been in long term relationships since a young age and the fact that they have only been with that one person can put a strain on the relationship.
also at that age you're still discovering who you are and growing as a person and it's harder to cope when a relationship breaks down if you have been used to being a couple and relying on someone for comfort and security.
im not just talking out of my arse here, i have seen these kind of situations.
but then again, what do i personally know? i've been single forever </loser>
and whilst it is an unpleasant experience in the short term and you feel like 'who the fuck are you to think I'm good enough for you, you piece of shit' - it soon wears off with the realisation that someone making eyes at you will not bring about a fist-fight/over-protective arm around the shoulder etc
dumping someone is a much worse feeling (though one should hold little sympathy for one's dumper)
On the bright side though - you're totally hot. You'll survive!

so does breakup sex...
I've actually never been dumped. How sad.
why on earth not :|
:)
I've dumped someone
They seriously deserved it, and I got more burnt than they did by the whole sorry scandal.
me neither!
my first girlfriend dumped me
after two weeks but I didn't care.
since then me = dumper, them = losers.
i rule.
If I'm honest with myself...
then I've been dumped, possibly a couple of times.
but I'm not honest with myself, so I have never been dumped either! GO ME!
i.e.
if someone stops returning your calls and after 2 weeks you leave them a message saying "fine, you're dumped then!" you might be able to convince yourself that you ended it!!
recently ended a two year
relationship. the sad thing is, no matter how good friends the person was and still is, i think, it's never gonna be as smooth as one would like to believe.
nope
I've officially broken up face to face with all of them. cos I'm nice like that.

Been on both ends of the stick
it is a bit bad aids.
i'm more bothered by the time i dumped someone
than the time i got dumped, even if i had been in love with the person who dumped me.
but anyway, consolidations ({)
consolidations vagina?
yeah
in my experience being the dumper can be as bad as being the dumpee.
Dumpee. Lol.
Sucks... in the short term
but character building inna long term... If it didn't happen now, it'd happen later on with someone much more important and much nicer - and that really would suck...
woah, honesty and generosity of character?... must be something wrong with me -think I'll call in sick...
I hate being dumped
but in a selfish way, you can really look after yourself for a while and do what you want to do.
Join the gym, take out all your upset on the treadmill!
It is nice to only have to worry about yourself for a bit
swings n roundabouts.
innit
marry me?
*hugs*
but hey! atleast you've had a proper relationship.
and you're only 16 so its good to be single anayway
why is it good for 16 year olds to be single?
I approve of it
At 16 you should be making go carts
and drinking panda pops.
because then
they won't damn themselves to an eternity of hellfire by having pre-marital sex.
So they can put it about a bit and up the teenage pregnancy rate
i just mean at that age you dont need to be too concerned with 'being with someone'
i've had friends who've been in long term relationships since a young age and the fact that they have only been with that one person can put a strain on the relationship.
also at that age you're still discovering who you are and growing as a person and it's harder to cope when a relationship breaks down if you have been used to being a couple and relying on someone for comfort and security.

everytime i bother to write a longish post
no-one reads it anyway.
this is why i can never be arsed :(
there's only 17 people online!
and your post makes sense and i don't know what to say beyond it apart from "^"
haha
thanks vikram :)
^
Its fucking shit
fact
it does suck.
in fact my 'interests' section was written in the wake of a break-up, being dumped.
and it rather sums up how i felt at the time.
:(
it takes a while, but you'll pull through one day.
emo
why do you take such pleasure in putting me down?
:'(
you'll be fine
Just do what everyone else does:
GET BITTER AND MEAN AND MAKE SURE YOU SABOTAGE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS BY BEING UTTERLY PARANOID, THEN GET IN THERE FIRST NEXT TIME.
ah, the glorious dumping cycle...
not if he/she was an asshole !
Wich he/she was since he/she dumped you !
So it's time to celebrate !
i never thought i'd see the day
when lyle gave the most positive response in a reasonably-sized thread.
Liking your style!
DiS :
always expect the unexpected !
that ought to be
the new tagline
I've only ever been dumped once
and whilst it is an unpleasant experience in the short term and you feel like 'who the fuck are you to think I'm good enough for you, you piece of shit' - it soon wears off with the realisation that someone making eyes at you will not bring about a fist-fight/over-protective arm around the shoulder etc

not* good enough
dumping someone.....
when you dont wont to is the shittest thing ever. Had to do it recently and it hurt me more than it hurt her...it sucks.
Yes
Sadly there is little you can do about it.
Except DRINK and FUCK
i just got dumped
:(
is that true??
if so then that's terrible
<3
nah
they're just seriously considering dumping me, but the sex is too good. it was just some misunderstandings and overreactions.
you know how we roll
aaaahhh yEAH
that's how we role.
