I've dumped someone
They seriously deserved it, and I got more burnt than they did by the whole sorry scandal.

my first girlfriend dumped me
after two weeks but I didn't care.
since then me = dumper, them = losers.
i rule.
If I'm honest with myself...
then I've been dumped, possibly a couple of times.
but I'm not honest with myself, so I have never been dumped either! GO ME!
i.e.
if someone stops returning your calls and after 2 weeks you leave them a message saying "fine, you're dumped then!" you might be able to convince yourself that you ended it!!
recently ended a two year
relationship. the sad thing is, no matter how good friends the person was and still is, i think, it's never gonna be as smooth as one would like to believe.

except one over the phone cos we lived hundreds of miles apart. and one was just by mutual agreement that we weren't going to stay together once we left uni.

but character building inna long term... If it didn't happen now, it'd happen later on with someone much more important and much nicer - and that really would suck...

I hate being dumped
but in a selfish way, you can really look after yourself for a while and do what you want to do.

i just mean at that age you dont need to be too concerned with 'being with someone'
i've had friends who've been in long term relationships since a young age and the fact that they have only been with that one person can put a strain on the relationship.
also at that age you're still discovering who you are and growing as a person and it's harder to cope when a relationship breaks down if you have been used to being a couple and relying on someone for comfort and security.
im not just talking out of my arse here, i have seen these kind of situations.
but then again, what do i personally know? i've been single forever </loser>
everytime i bother to write a longish post

I've only ever been dumped once
and whilst it is an unpleasant experience in the short term and you feel like 'who the fuck are you to think I'm good enough for you, you piece of shit' - it soon wears off with the realisation that someone making eyes at you will not bring about a fist-fight/over-protective arm around the shoulder etc
dumping someone is a much worse feeling (though one should hold little sympathy for one's dumper)
On the bright side though - you're totally hot. You'll survive!
