Am I supposed to be lolling at the mental chimps?
tails off in the last 3rd but is still good.
Is it supposed to be blackly comic though?
copies Day of The Triffids. Read that instead.
that have a mind of their own....
It has the same plot. Event happens to wipe out mankind less a handful of urban gorilla fighters who pit their wits against the incoming alien regime.
there are some very specific similarities - see above - Event, end of mankind, some left, urban fighters, alien (in the broadest sense of the word.)
they landed and grew and evolved on earth... and learned from humans.
the zombies - just in the uk.
best difference you can come up with?
i've forgotten loads about 'triffids... and am tired...
The Day of the Triffids.
(as it said on a programme yesterday)
oh the power of boobs.
you knows what i means
basically. i won't say it here in case it spoils it for others.
BUT i thought the whole idea that he became so enraged that he was 'safe' from the infected, and became like them but only to save and protect those he loved. i thought it was an interesting concept.
Despite finding the infected people quite hilarious.
arrrrrrrrrgh so scary.
that is all
i can't believe i haven't summoned up the motivation to see 28weeks later
i imagine it should also be much better than most modern horror movies.
not that that would be very difficult modern horror is almost all shit
mainstream modern horror is shit - hostel, the new hills have eyes movies etc
house of 1,000 corpses
you should watch happier films, like bambi.
when i watch zombie films i usually get fucked up dreams.... but i really enjoy dreams like that. it's like living in your own movie.
get skewered or anything along those lines are pretty much the only thing I can't watch in a film without wanting to vomit.
Rest = rubbish
