to take 4 subjects at A2? I'm seriously considering it...
unless you're Mr Motivator.
Three is enough for most people, but I guess there are a few exceptions.
It was fun! Except it really wasn't. What a fucking stupid question.
but i'm a moaner and I like moaning.
Our school is forcing everyone (!!!) to do four A2s, stupid moron idiot morons.
Don't you enjoy lazing around and loadsa free periods? Though I've heard A2 is a big step up so 3 is enough for me.
But I'm having trouble deciding what to drop. I want to drop Business Studies, but I'm good at it, and find it easy. It's mainly because I don't like my class. Shit reason, I know, but my other options are:
Sociology - I think I did well in that, and it's interesting, so yeah...
English Literature - It's something I've struggled with this year, but I think it may help my journalistic prospects, and that it's worth keeping.
Religion - I love the philosophy section of it, the Luke's gospel section less so, but I've already covered a lot of next year's evolution section in my coursework.
Common sense would be to drop the one I do worst in, but I don't know if I can take another year in that Business Studies class. It breaks my spirit, and means I don't enjoy it, despite being good at it. I really don't want to drop any of the other subjects in favour of that.
unless you know what you want to do and that having 4 A2s would benefit you.
(Unless one of the A2s is Further Maths.)
that's not a paradox.
Unless they didn't know what they wanted to do, so wanted to cover as broad a range of subjects as possible.
surely you can't pick it up at A2. It would have to be 3 AS's and 1 AS.
See, I'm thinking it might give me an edge on some people, if I can prove I can handle 4 subjects, and get good marks with them. My extra-curricular record isn't the best, and I'm wondering whether this would make up for that, at least to some extent.
getting 3 As is better than 3As and a B
wayyyy out of my league. The course I want to take only asks for something like a B and 2 Cs...
so you can drop whatever you like if you change your mind.
it shows that you can't do 4 A2s and get straight As.
did 4 and didn't find it too bad, but then I did stuff like Spanish which basically required no revision. It's not like doing 4 A2s would completely destroy your social life. Quite a few people at my school did it.
what the hell is an A2? i thought that was a road
Are you all talking about?
but I never understood people who did 4 A levels. No university ever needs more than 3 and it is more fun to have lots of free periods and less work.
