Back when I was a hippo I went on some of the most unbearable diets to try and lose weight.
The worst was one that was supposed to work on some kind of chemical reaction between the foods you had to eat.
You had to follow a strict eating plan for 3 days of the week and then were told to eat as normal the rest of the time (so for me that was 3 chocolate bars a day, 2 packets of crisps and a whole host of other crap)
A typical meal -
2 hertz frankfurters
100g of beetroot
100g of cauliflour
And for lunch on one of the days it was 100g of cottage cheese which i HATE and it made me retch but i had to do it :(
For the record I lost a couple of pounds and then couldn't do it anymore.
It had one redeeming feature I suppose - 100g of ice-ceam for pudding every day!
Anyone been on anything worse?
Anyone found an amazing one?
Any massive success stories/huge weight loss?
