Mines on the Nazis... too much to remember! luckily 60% is on sources and not own knowledge.
What exam board is yours?
AQA i would guess. i think theres all different topics you can pick wit them.
i like the module im doing.
I'm stuck with OCR
and then Econ on Tuesday, Synoptic RS on Thursday, and then I'm finished
tomorow ive got history in the morning and 2 law modules in the afternoon... im stocking up on energy drinks!
and after that i think i still have another 4 exams.
You going Uni?
providing i dont fuck up tomorow that is! Need AAB
either Sussex (if I manage AAB) to do Law and German, or Manchester to do German abd Business Management if I get BBB
good luck dude
hopefully as long as i do reasonably well i think ill be there... but i can see myself getting ABB just to piss me off.
Good luck to you too!
If you're doing the Unit 6 Nazi Paper, which I assume you are as it's the source paper. I am really really underprepared for this, but hopefully I'll make it up by blitzing the Empire paper on Wednesday.
the past papers we had didnt have anything on it!
French Revolution? I LOVE it.
me. mid-tudor crisis. i've been ill the last few days so haven't revised enough. i'm scared, ok?
so i guess so, yeah
once again: i'm scared.
Absolutist States in Europe in the 18th century and Victorian politics. YUM!
is the whole thing, not just the rebellions. I really don't know anything. But it's marked 75% source-based information and 25% own knowledge so I may be able to cobble something together.
I thought my tiny class were the only people in the whole world studying Tudor history!
let me get this straight: you only get 25% for own knowledge? why was i not informed of this?
and what exactly is the 75% for?
critically to make an arguement, although its 60/40 in the one im doing.
early nights all round!
was actually quite good, I'm rather happy with that. Well. I mean, at least I think I am. Guess I won't really find out until August 26th really. At least I can forget all about the Holocaust now as it's not something I like to dwell on.
I wish I had edexcel for everything, OCR's a cunt
you can only beat what's put in front of you
not too difficult, pretty confident i got enough down!
if i wasn't so ill that would have been ok - the questions were fin, i just couldn't make my head work out how to answer them properly. oh well.
anyone know if getting a note from your gp and giving it to the exam board will get you an extra marks?
part of me feels bad for doing it as it seems like i'm getting marks for nothing, but i felt like shit this morning. i almost walked out after 15mins, so it must have affected how well i did.
by not being well... its not like anyone else does worse as a result of it, so dont feel bad!
are a bit of a cunt on this.
actually they're total cunts.
One thing is to get it in as soon as possible. tomorrow probably as they kick up a fuss about people doing exams while ill - apparently if you're well enough to do the exam then thats enough for them...
you will probably get a few extra percent - but its more likely to be 2/3% than anything that will offset the fact you were proper ill.
and was out of it since friday i think, so im sure she should get more than that, but i doubt they would account for revision lost, just actual exam performance.
and does anyone else have that pre-release booklet about historical novels?
my history exam also went suprsingly well! i got the question i wanted for af-am civil rights and i think i managed to blag the trade union one even though i was a bit shaky on the facts. tonight im gonna have a celebratory watch of the life aquatic. well done everyone!
William Blake last year. I had to resit it. good luck to you!
have thejoy of having to memorise anything we might need for Hamlet and Blake.
Does anyone else think this is rediculous for an exam which is essentially for an English A level - where its possible to be quite ok at Engish, but terrible at remembering sets of quotes?
my exams don't finish until the 28th :(
as well as Unseen Prose, but I seriously don't understand how I'm meant to remember two full books of poetry, especially when Blake's such a dickhead that he couldn't think of two sets of names so I constantly forget which is from Innocence and which is from Experience. I know all the themes backwards but it's pointless without quotes.
On the plus side, I've got British Empire history on Wednesday, which should be a doddle.
And im STILL smug about it
that went good too! nice and relaxed now, still got 4 exams though.
