Something I've been pondering since I moved into my yuppie 'pad' that's surrounded by posh students on one side, and crazy tramps on the other. I don't have any friends from outside of my social class (let's just say 'lower-middle' - Dad's 'skilled manual', Mum's 'secretarial'), either upwards or downwards. All my friends are in roughly similar situations, on similar incomes etc., and I can't tell if this is my fault for being closed-minded, or if it's SOCIETY'S fault. So - do you have friends (and I don't just mean 'acquaintances') from other classes?
