YOU know in some ways he's right -sort of. At least he still cares about the things he's passionate about - at least 46.1 per cent of 'us' on here won't give a shit about music or culture once we reach a certain 'plateau' in our lives - and when did ever being 'young' (let's talk demographics please) mean you somehow 'mean it' more than somebody older?
Happily the passing of time means that egeryone on here has someone younger than them moving up swiftly behind them as we all think of adult and childish ways to keep our thoughts off the permanence of the grave. However you spend that time inbetween learning to talk and not actually existing is up to you but what you should like and when you should like it is really up to you and you only.
So to conclude - JD Traynor - every right in the world to like music over 40 - 'emo' blah -every right to think the world evolves around you, but remember that by the time you've read this your already aging.
PS - traynor called me a cunt about 43 times on these boards and is always rude about my former neighbour SCL so this 'aint' no 'PR'.
PPS - its time I had my own column somewhere. Don't you think?
