I heard he's gonna be on 40 grand a week, becoming their joint highest earner. Alongside who, you ask? None other than Emile Heskey.
I might join you in that bet, although with Jewell leaving, I think they'll struggle anyway. When Jewell left Bradford, after keeping them up, they were relegated the season after. Who had Jewell left in charge? Chris Hutchings.
But the clever money's on Derby. They make Bramble look like some poncey twinkle-toes stepover master.
Or at least, who hasn't seen Dean Leacock this season.
teams than Wigan. Even Derby have a better first XI than they do.
I'm just happy Bramble joined another Premiership side. We've had him for 5 years, we know his weaknesses. 6 easy points for us.
And more to the point, does he have any strengths apart from occasionally getting in the way (of the other team)?
But a lot of the time he just hoofs it upfield, or stands on the ball, before panicking, and bringing down the defender he has lost the ball to.
Also, he tends to needlessly dive into tackles in bad positions, and give away free-kicks.
Not to mention his general lack of concentration.
He's a strong guy though. He can outmuscle most strikers.
If he could cut out his errors, then yes, but that's never going to happen.
have a better starting XI. Speaking of which, I had to mark their right winger in an adecco football match last week. He ran rings around me.
otherwise, as you were.
Noel Imbers biggest claim to fame is that he went out with Posh Spices sister. Because he modelled himself on one Sir David Beckham MBE OBE BA MA, the sun ran a front page story about it.
My ex-housemate's dad used to work as a prison officer where he was 'kept'
and the main part of it is his tales of imprisonment.
and I'm putting my house on it.
oh my god.
HOW IS ANYONE IN THIS DIVISION NOT AWARE OF HOW SHIT HE IS?!
that Bramble must be risk-free, as there is no transfer fee involved...
Risk-free? Fair enough....
Hutchings' managerial record speaks for itself. It's immense(ly shit).
Derby, Wigan & Reading
Reading won't get relegated. No chance.
They really need to replace Sidwell.
He'd been an average member of the team for 2-3 seasons, and Gunnarsson always looked reasonable last season when he replaced Sidwell.
We'll have to see what Cisse from Boavista is like, Coppell is shrewd though.
That Chelsea saw enough in to pay 50k per week?
Haven't spoken to anyone who does understand to be honest. I thought he'd go to Villa.
as they have spirit and I bet Keane can be scary / get them rattled up. If anything they'll get relegated the following season.
Serious? The guy couldn't hit a multi storey car park in a tank from 10 paces. The world is mad.
he's shit. and looks like a goombah.
that's Davies' role in Bolton MkII filled. Just need a Campo, a Nolan and a Tal Ben Haim now.
No way will we go down. Once Sam gets the players he wants, coupled with what we already have, we'll be top 6.
like Leeds were....
and how EVERY manager you have said you were gonna be.
it was blind optimism. This time I have reason to be optimistic.
this is my favourite part of the footballing year. So full of hope, yet to be dashed.
wigan, derby, fulham
Wigan, Boro, derby
boro won't go down. fulham are far worse and sanchez is absolute shite.
seriously, Southgate is lucky he had a half decent squad. If he was in charge of Fulham, they would have sunk without a trace.
Anyone? I'd love that
and that is not a lie.
on Sheff Utd getting relegated from the Premierhsip next season would be...
what a crap sentence.
is seriously full of quite a lot of shite next season isn't it?
