like, just now. So far, so good.
Looking forward to tommorow. This reminds me I need to by booze.
I'm sober too. But not for long.
I've had a frappucino and a sandwich. The day's not going as slowly as I'd feared. Roll on free cocktails at 7.30pm! Maybe tonight I'll remember to eat dinner.
Can't remember if I talked at you at ATP. Probably. Anyway, y'know, hi and stuff.
so you probably did. but then you were probably smacked off your face on blooties
happy 21st dude. what's the best thing about 21 so far?
enjoy it in the debauched manner that a finished finalist in Oxford should.
and then back to college for a bop?
maybe a game of crocquet?
not such a problem for you though I suppose
bops are overrated. As is croquet.
Turf --> King's Arms (for the late opening hours) --> Cellar, once you're suitably drunk
if you are a mongfarmer
Bop is possibly the most cringeworthy Oxford expression ever. Unforgivable really.
I quite enjoyed croquet but Ive never played it since college.
(or maybe that's just in comparison to the cheaper Cowley road pubs...)
to get in to the KA you have to wear a blazer emblazoned with your family crest and loafers and have stupid floppy hair
possibly not totally true
boater shoes, god I hate them
I think I went there once, the clientele made me feel ill. Walked in - walked back out again.
(Obviously you're an exception Vikram)
well it's kind of our local (along with the Turf). I agree there's much nicer pubs in Oxford though.
on the High St?
Quite scary clientele. I have no idea why I used to go there.
I have a conference in Oxford in June, I will be in a nostalgic daze.
I went to Chequers for a pint once after going to Magdalen Bridge on May morning. There were people there dancing to hard house. At 6am.
how everything's open all night on Mayday. One of my friends had an all night party in her room this year with almost all my friends there, followed by going down to Magdalen quad at 5.30am and then going for breakfast somewhere at G&Ds. It was really surreal and probably one of my favourite times I've had here.
and watch potmong crusties stab each other to an ethno-house soundtrack
not sure. I certainly don't think I've ever seen it, anyway.
i dont know who to believe anymore =(
you can now get an HGV licence! It's great being 21
In oxford, that is...but still...PARTAY. I've spent most of today waiting for the Oxford Tube to turn up, and when it did it was full. Fun. So now I'm off to stockpile Pimm's and beer for tomorrow night. Possibly in a heavy-goods vehicle, I haven't decided.
Another recent member to the Two One club.
There was two people I know yesterday, one of which is an estranged DiSer, actually.
Anyway, Happy Birthday!!
Where did you come from?
Happy Birthday again!!
Thanks Dalks :o)
Btw - when did you turn 21?! I thought your birthday was in June. Now I feel really lame for missing your birthday :o*( x x x
I thought you would have remembered that one :-p
I'll expect a late card in the post then, eh?
