smell of sweat and not much else. ew
and having burney eyes and coughing lungs, and pissed twats jabbing you in the arm with cigarettes.
If you spent any time in Cardiff you'd know this already though ;-)
you can smell the person beside you's sweaty armpits, but that's about it.
will also be completely fucked, as non smoking prisoners will be allowed to refuse to share cells with smokers.
but that's nothing to do with the smoking ban.
it did not smell like that. it smelt ok. i cant really compare though, because normally i have to spend most of the gig concentrating on breathing right so i dont have to breath in more smoke than necessary.
I thin the clean air might confuse me.
Toronto's non-smoking and the bars and venues there are fine.
Go sneaky dees.
Have to huddle up outside venues in the snow at -30C
Serves 'em right for making my clothes stink of smoke so much over the years
any impregnation of clothes is entirely your own fault.
Unless someone spills beer on you. But this is clearly acknowledged to be an assholeish move.
it was like a whole brilliant global warming inducing social gathering
it's almost bound to occur. People can also sweat on you if they're in very close proximity, and a beer fart is least offensive to the person who produces it.
The difference really is that none of the above are likely to contribute to your death.
As someone who pretty much doesn't smoke, with allergy issues probably not aided by smoke, I'm sure I should be happy about the ban. Amusingly though I quite like the smell of smoke and will probably miss it.
Unless there's massive public support big venues will presumably be limited in how much they will be able to enforce this anyway, if they can't/won't even try to get in a crowd and find people smoking weed now I can't imagine they'll be able to get after people lighting up on july 1st.
never again will i be able to get stoned to a band, nor will i be able to smoke tonnes of cigs at ATP while watching bands, it makes me cry a little, though i know it's for the best
I mean there will be a sweat smell at times but as a rule they shouldn't smell too bad so long as they are kept clean. In California the venues don't stink.
Pubs should smell fine. It's just that prior to the smoking fan they can more easily get away with not keeping things clean.
night without being greeted by the usual cloud of smoke....the regs always sit at the bar smoking, horrible it is.
you should be outside the Spar with a bottle of cider
