ever - I seriously used to love going to the job centre signing on - looking at the drop outs who really weren't ever going to find meaningful work again.
You have to sign on for about a year before they have you publicly flogged. You scrounger.

I'm not denying it. I don't mind being called an attention seeking little tosser though. I'll add that to my CV.
Ive done it several times. Hopefully they won't give you an early time slot as getting out of bed early once every two weeks when you're unemployed is really not fair.
They usually just let me get on with it and gave no hassle as they were convinced I actually wanted to get a job. They aren't much use when it comes to jobs for graduates so they just trusted me to get on with applying for things. Fortunately I got things fairly quickly or under the Jobseeker's allowance contract system I would have had to take a job as a cleaner or poo cleaner-upper.
Oxford was pretty much fine
Tottenham and Dalston job centres not so great
