Am I the only one who is content with texting, phone calls and real life?

Are all young people so insecure and riddled with self-doubt that they have to live their lives vicariously through an electronic medium? Their only modicum of self-worth coming courtesy of a 'you're well phitt' picture comment?

I can't believe how many people I know see Facebook as the main conduit for peer interaction, and these are like 19-21 year olds, its fucked up I think
