I just saw the Channel 4 listings and the details for a programme I didn't know existed. It is called 'Your Face or Mine?' and is described thus: "Candid comedy game-show that challenges contestants to guess how gorgeous or how gruesome people really think they are."
Now, I would propose that there is already far too much candid behaviour on TV, that all game-shows should have comedic content, a fact lost on Noel Edmunds, that the use of the word "challenge" is a particularly absurd malapropism, and that the real purpose of the show is to laugh at ugly people. Vile, gutter-dweling TV aimed at the demographic known as TV excutives. However, salvation from the sewer is provided: The show is "presented by Jimmy Carr and June Sarpong".
