I wash all the other parts of my body every day, so why not my hair as well?

I have to wash my hair every day, else I get itchy. Which is a shame, as my hair looks amazing when I first wake up.
And a smell test.
that makes the oils run through it. But otherwise it'll just matt up and go grim.

apparentky if you leave your hair for 11 weeks it cleans itself. Theres no way I could leave it that long.
I was also told that you should never clean your ears as they only produce wax when necessary tp protect themselves, I've chosen to ignore this info and keeps my ears clean

and the girl cutting it suggested that when it reaches a certain length you shouldn't wash it. I thought this was kind of odd since they normally go the opposite way and try and sell you a whole lot of expensive product, but she was adamant.

people with dreads always said how hair was self cleaning and then eventually had to cut them off because they found an insect nest. this happened twice.
I only use shampoo once a week or something, but still wet it every day. I heard thats best or something.
