im a one man don cabellero.
im gettin that done up tonight. is it good? have you used it?
Yeah its really good.
But i cant find one that doesent get "copy protect violation" on it any more.
of have I missed the point completely?
Am I allowed to talk about Akai Hearush and Line6 DL4 pedals?
as long as i can warble a bit about how linking up my digitech digidelay and my deigitech jam man makes me the greatest musician in history
that was my logic.
I made a feedback loop out of my guitar pedals, then reversed it.
OMG I CN MAK NOISE MUZIK
i was talking about the loop station pedal. i'm totally about to bring my DD3 into the mix too when i find another lead
syncronise a loop station to a click track. Even if you're loop is 1000th of a second out, by the end of the tune, it's totally out of sync with the click.
Aaanyway, Headrush is brillant, but the Lin6 DL4 just rules. I was gonna buy a jam man but I read some stuff that said the pedal design made it hard to judge where the actual "bite" was on the pedal action, so you can easily fuck up the end of loops.
i'm getting about half a second out of time at the minute, but i'm doin some wacky shit anyway so it sounds k
a sexy expensive professional loop funtion thing, with a programable tempo inputty thing on it.
thats how i reckon battles do it, but thats a guess
mid song nowadays - So I play a riff, loop it, play over it, then it stops and another bit of the song comes in.
This way I find the whole tune doesn't sit on the one loop (that slips) and you basically use the looper to add ad-hoc second guitar parts. Works much better.
However, I did have my Headrush on tape delay running through my digital delay pedal too and it made more the most POST ROCK SOUND EVER.
Cue 4 hours of slow string bends.
I just record a few twiddly guitar loops, then switch on the fuzz and whammy pedal and play a bassline over the top of it.
Hours of tedious fun.
with its damn auto quantise that can't be turned off
use the DL4 i think.
i wish i could sync up my loop pedal to a click or something, tryingto add harmonies whilst playing to a programmed backing track makes me osund like a right a-rhythmic moron.
we want a secoind guitarist. Come join you scum.
doing weird ambient shit in the background. You knows it.
i think only the guitarist at the back uses a DL4.
for all their main loops the use a gibson echoplex, which they all link to.
i don't fully understand how they play live. it hurts my head.
ian williams uses one, and so does does dave konopckkakkaka. you can see this in effect in the atlas video and and it various don cab vids on youtube intit.
he's one of my favourite artists ever ever ever
very similar to what i'm doin with mine. except the vocals
the boss RC50? I'm looking for a way of adding in pre-recorded loops without the need for a laptop.
