My housemate has had one of these for years, and today I decided to use it for thr first time. I wanted bacon, but I didn't want to fry it, and the grill on our oven sucks. I put the bacon in, and left it, with a plate to catch the fat. Grilled beautifully; very tasty indeed.
BUT on removing the plate, I noticed how much fat there was on it. A large dinner plate was half covered by fat from 4 rashers of bacon. This disturbed me. Is that how much fat I eat every meal? George Foreman has frightened me :(
