The Glasgow isn't as bad as people make out thread...

...honestly, it really isn't.

I live at Partick Cross and it is as safe as hell round here, never any trouble.

I often venture to town via Woodlands Road and again never any trouble, no problems at all. My best friend lived above the "Uisge Beathe" - water of life in gaelic - it's an amazing wee bar! Never had any problems around there.

Then a friend lived on Great Western Road, never had any trouble there, mind you I didn't like walking home on my lonesome.

The center of town fine if you stick to sensible places. I was down the Trongate tonight in Maggie May's and it eas lovely, no trouble. I walked home from there - no worries at all.

In Glasgow - like every big city - there's places you don't go and places you do.
