it's quite good, but I missed the start so don't quite know what is going on.
In the freeview description is describes one of the sins as 'sl**gishness'. What the hell is that?
I'm not actually looking at the screen (that would probably help). But it seems to be an extract from an old (16th or 17th C) diary, followed by a modern day translation. All about hooliganism and violence and drinking.
why star parts of it out? Unless freeview know something I don't.
& got bored. Found sex&the city on cable.
I think I'm going to move to France.
care to explain?
all the apparent ills of modern society eg. Consumerism, binge-drinking, violence, bigotry etc. have actually been around for hundreds of years. Meh. Pretty patronising to be honest.
Low brow toss masquerading as high concept viewing, they still fucking try to pull it with Big Brother and all..
"chavish" behavior, being backed up by old quotations.
who say that the country is going down the pan, that people have been saying that for 400 years.
an antidote to the Daily Mail and the like. Makes you proud to live here.
Man standing at bar with two women(all drunk)
woman 1: Ive got a a tattoo, wanna see?
Man: yeah alright then love.
*woman lifts up shirt*
Women 1: Its my mam because I love 'er
man: Yeah I love my mam too
woman 2: I love my mam
Man: yeah i bet you fuckin' do
*man pushes woman 1 to the side and disgustingly mouth rapes woman 2, who seems to be enjoying it*
is irrelevant and encourages defeatism.
If this is what we are to be "proud" of in this fucking country, its time to get the fuck out of here!
Unbelievable that that drunken idiot was trying to say that because English men and women have been acting in a drunken anti social manner for centuries, it makes the behavious today all perfectly acceptable. What a load of shit
but yeah - if they wanted to convey the message that people who say "in my day we left the key in the unlocked door when we went out" are silly, then they could've gone about it in a better way.
why follow up that programme with Roy Chubby Brown? Unless they completely pwn him.
