Voting
How do I do it? What actually happens when you're inside the place you're supposed to be. Terror tactics were just a fascist thing right? Will there be screaming protesters? Or journalists? What happens if my hand gets all shaky and I tick the wrong box? Do I need to take anything down to the place where you go? Like ID or anything?
take voting card
they tell you what to do when you get there.
but basically you put a cross next to your choice. anyone can do it. supposedly
But if I ask them
They'll know that I'm new to it they'll try to trick me into doing it wrong so their party benefits.
women arent allowed to vote
sorry
Can I really be
bothered tomorrow?
how do I know if I'm registered to vote?
You should've had a
polling card
I don't think I have one
:(
Have mine
I don't think I shall bother. Or tell me how to vote
I'm not bothered about voting tbh.

Go for the one with the most A's in their name.
:(
Registration forms usually get sent out at the tail end of the year (Sept/Oct time), you may have filled one in?
You can check with your local electoral registration office if you think you are registered but haven't received the polling card. You don't tend to need the card when you go to vote, although it is useful for knowing where to go! You can just tell them your name & address at the polling station and they'll check for you.
hmmm
thanks. I'll look into this.
You have to take that down then?
I think I got one of those. Is that all you need to take? Will they have pens there?
You don't
use pens. it will be a pencil
I don't have any pencils
And I always press way too heavily. Does it matter if you press really heavily. I always break them too. Will they give you replacements?
Do people wash their hands before voting?
That doesn't sound very hygenic.
i rub my hands in dirt
just before i vote.
You live in Hull
I don't think you need to do that...
what, i don't need to vote?
do our votes not count? :(
No the dirt thing
Hull is filthy, and germ-infested, and probably need isolating.
gee thanks
luckily (or unluckily depending how you see it) i live in a village 6 miles outside of hull. we have a windmill and not much else.
