that were supposed to help but havent really -

microwave meals. cheap quick alternative to cooking, actually pumping us (well, poor people and students) full of additives, sugar and salt. any other suggestions?

  • microchips

presumably intended to make machines and therefore workplaces more efficient, have in fact lead to the rise of the internet and people* doing nothing at work all day.

*people other than me of course

  • microwave meals?

but they are good (meaning bad for you). but they aint cheap.

i have to limit myself to 2 a fortnight, so as not to overspend on food.

Do you want to employ me as your chef, John?

      commandercool @ImageChange | 2 May '07, 16:40 | X

          • i might be able to stretch to that ;)

  • i like buying sliced bread

it saves me the effort of having to cut it. and i can make a tasty snack quickly with the grilling device, or 'toaster', or i can just eat it straight out of the packet with butter or margarine, and some kind of spread! :D

    • ready meals - poor people?!

ready meals are expensive. it's usally much cheaper to make something yourself than buy it as a ready meal.
