I like the idea but I think it'll all end in messy tears.
Can a football club be run like this?
I'm so doing this
but I'm hugely skint right now.
Who are Fisher Athletic?
Why are they so high in the list?
Fisher play at Dulwich Hamlet's ground, as far as I'm aware.
rich neutral fans club together to buy *picks club I don't like at random* and then make them buy *picks crap player* to send them down!!!1111,1m1n1!geon
Hmmm. I wouldn't want a say in a club I went to watch. Although I wouldn't mind contributing to keep them alive.
I am in like flint.
i think fans of said club wont be too happy about the fate of their club being decided by a vote each week. You cant have 50'000 people picking the team, can you? who's to say the people who paid their slice have a clue about football?.
i dunno maybe it could work, who knows. it would be pretty fucking cool though, and i imagine a lot of the people would start going to see the games and supporting the team, they just have to pick the right team.
such as Malcolm Glazer knows anything about football.
I'm pretty sure he bought Man U as a brand rather than a football club...
but he doesnt pick the team, in this there will be a vote each week for team selection, which is just ridiculous, what if one selection wins by like 55% you get 22'000 totally pissed off people blaming the other 28'000 for picking a certain player or whatever.
for things like signings and other back room stuff.
But perhaps I didn't read it properly.
you're right, I missed the big bit on the front page that said "VOTE FOR TEAM SELECTION".
