We live in a rather trivial socety don't you think?
but a question doesn't really qualify as a note.
but I'm a bit busy and wanted to say something.
My notes were based on an article Iread at the weekend about how the internet is trivialising everything, but I've realised that I have loads to do today. Sorry!
is it basically that web 2.0 promotes a diet of shit on the internet that isn't really interesting or useful.
'cause the world was free of that sort of stuff pre-YouTube.
but really reading what a self obsessed adult teenager did at the weekend really only belongs on the spermsplattered pages of their hateful diary when you think about it no?
as a concept, i think that if someone wants to express themselves using a public medium, i think it's great that they can. regardless of whether anyone else cares or not.
so i think we can lump them in together.
anyother example: what is important on the internet? compare the size of article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emmeline_Pankhurst
