on the weekend I went to York on the train.
I had the intention of paying on the train seeing as the station I got on was unmanned, but the conductor walked past us everytime without checking for tickets. So we got there for nothing.
We only just made it to the station in time for the return journey so we got on ticketless and the same happened. So we got both journeys for nothing.
I've been thinking about it and can't rationally say that it's bad to get free travel in this way, I didn't hide or lie or anything.
Did I do a 'wrong' thing?
