Dogs and pandas (possibly others I can't think of now) have their own 'years'? As in, 'The panda is 8 years old, which is the equivalent of 20 human years'? Why can't it just be 20? Why must it be its own 'special' age? And in this case, why aren't all animals 'aged' like this?
