Yesterday my flatmate and I made a last minute decision to surprise a good friend who lives in Denmark by rocking up at his birthday party unexpected. I can honestly say it was one of the most amazing things ever, we didn't tell anyone we were coming and they were all gobsmacked and really really chuffed. It was brilliant. I'd recommend doing a (nice) surprise for someone you like ASAP.
