My flatmate certainly seems to think so.

I've been living with this girl for the past 3 years and i'm sure i've called her a cunt on several occasions. Where i'm from cunt isn't a particularly bad word so it's nothing to me. My flatmate is from the same town so to her it shouldn't be that bad either.

Basically, were all at our revision and she made a quip that i've done fuck all so far.

I pointed out that "what the hell do you know, you cunt, I revise in my room! you've no idea what I do"

she then told me not to call her a cunt cause she hated the word.

I asked her "why have you all of a sudden taken a disliking to the word cunt?"

she then told me not to say it again or she'd throw a pint glass at me.

I told her to "fucking do it then"

She said she would.

I said "go ahead".

She proceeded to launch a pint glass at me.

I swiftly moved and it smashed all over the wooden floor...she then said she didn't think it would break.

YOU DIDN'T THINK THROWING A GLASS ON A HARD FLOOR WOULDN'T BREAK IT.

...all because I called her a cunt.

She no proclaims it was as much my fault for 'daring' her to do it. I told her "fuck that, if I told you to jump out the window would you do it?"

(classic!)

and she muttered something about me calling her a cunt and avoided answering my question.

So I ask you DiS, is cunt really that horrible of a word? Bearing in mind the context...
