That'll buy a few nice offices at the FA.
spend it on kittens and masking tape?
better than points. egghead can afford it i'm sure.
No point deduction?
Think they're pretty doomed anyways...
for that...could have been a lot worse.
Going to wigan tommorow, gonna be huge. Taking 6,000, it'll be loud.
to stay up at the expense of Wigan.
I HATE WIGAN.
thats what i like to hear.
they obviously bought themselves a premiership place but i can't hate them. i'm just meh towards them.
maybe jewell'll go to fulham depending on how the season ends.
You're going down anyway...
win tommorow and we're level on points with wigan, if charlton lose we go above them and if sheff uinted lose and fulham lose they're in it as well.
You can't do pessimism if you're a hammers fan(or spell it)
I'd love to see Fulham and Charlton go down with Watford. With a fine like that, West Ham really need to stay up or they'll be fucked for a good few years.
but if anyone does dodgey dealings then they deserve it. As much as i am a west ham sympothiser (sp) im glad.
I HATE THE FA SO MUCH.
We got 3 points deducted and ultimately relegated for something not as bad as that. The FA fucked us over. London-centric cunts.
and probably the deducted 3 points cost more in the end than £5.5million.
BUT £5.5million?! Manchester United got fined £14,500 for crowd trouble, and not controlling their fans properly, a situation in which if it had got really out of hand someone could have been injured or killed. Seems a little disproportionate.
there is no need for a fine, i mean no one is exactly likely to want to emulate west ham recently
but for some reason I've recently really for West Ham to go down. Probably because I've always suspected that Curbishley is a prick. I'm an Everton fan, so all this small time bottom of the table shit is of no real interest to me, but for some reason I'd love it if the Hammers go down. Very odd.
cause we beat you last week, ya bitter blue-nose
which is reflected in the size of the fine. All the precedents were that if West Ham were guilty, they should have been docked points.
But the FA chickened out of this because they knew that there would be an appeal and everything would be thrown into confusion.
Although bottom line, if there was a problem, the FA should not have sanctioned the players in the first place.
registration get's cancelled that could make things interesting...
"Deduct three points from Boro, it's ok if they go down."
"Oh we can't deduct points from West Ham they won't stay up."
Fucking shithouses. Eurgh.
