I've experimented with this ace creamy leek and bacon dish... *new* for me.
I'm so hungry.
I have a leek, a courgette and some sausages to use up either tonight or tomorrow. I have Kidney beans and tinned tomatoes in the cupboard. Suggestions?
I have no cheese...
LOTS of potatoes.
bangers and mash, with creamy leeks and roasted courgette.
lloyd grossman korma sauce, pretty delicious?
this is my first. nicer than a real takeaway fact.
i just made a sausage sandwich, the leek will have to wait.
I'll buy some cream tomorrow.
what a dickhead. i do want to try his sauces though.
is literally omgz tasty.
though possibly a tad too fruity and rich once you've eaten all the meat.
with some butter, salt and pepper. wait till they soften slightly, add double cream. turn down heat and wait till they turn into creamy leeks.
serious, just brown the sausages a little on a low heat with the leeks, courgette and beans for about 10 minutes. then add the tomats, and either some veg/chicken stock or some wine. Then just bung it in the oven for about 40 minutes. It will be well tasty OMG.
my number one foodstuff.
especially with a creamy sauce and bacon bits yes. What I do is cut them into long strips so you get like a leek carbonarra :-)
