i'm thinking orange. anyone know any better?
It's total shit. The router they give you is bollocks and breaks down more often than Cristiano Ronaldo after being knocked out of the World Cup.
Not that I'm bitter about it.
and it is ace
stupidly cheap, fast and free wirless router.... very reliable too i find.... and im not even a subsriber + u get oranged wednesday too with the cinema.
good to know its not just her!
but thats only cos we use em.
Zen are bestest
after hanging up on a fucking useless cretin at sky.
piss me off, damned cretins i wish i had a stick next to my phone of which i could beat them with.
Should go with Virgin. They have the best residential contention ratio and uptime right now.
Their ADSL service is very mint.
Though, it costs a little more than others, but you get what you pay for, big time.
We were with NTL cos Stealthy heard something good about them or something and the connection is fucking atrocious.
Seriously. Half the time its like using dial-up. And you phone them and they won't do anything about it. Cunts.
the homehub is the dogs bollocks for ease of use, and it's plenty fast.
BT use heavy traffic shaping between 6 and midnight on all P2P traffic, and normal web browsing as well. Basically, you can't watch YouTube except in the middle of the night, and forget about downloading the new Lost in less than 5 hours.
The HomeHub is useful as a paperweight and that's it, slow, painfully slow, and the wireless signal is only 75% as strong as my 2 year old Netgear. Avoid BT, at all costs. It's expensive, their 'customer service' is seriously rubbish and they tie you in to a years contract.
and as far as connections go, people i know who use BT seem to have had it muc more reliable than those who've gone elsewhere.
i do only know 3 people on BT though, and only one of them downloads, so it might just be luck.
and read lots of confusing stuff
good info though
you're all losers!
£20 a month!
330 gig a month bandwidth!
no blocks on any sort of P2P program!
