      • Maybe it's a goddamn deathtrap from hell that be-legs everyone who dares sit on it.

        • shit

i don't want to risk it

          • ooh

            • IT'S A BELLA TRAP!

Well done for avoiding it so far.

              John_Brainlove @Frances14 | 22 Apr '07, 20:43 | X
  • .

    Put the bike somewhere safe

Post a note through all your neighbours' doors stating that you have found a bike and giving your mobile number.

When someone calls, ask them to describe the bike; if their description is correct that ask them to collect it.

    • hmm

      that's quite a good plan

      Frances14 @Mr_JDTraynor | 22 Apr '07, 19:56 | X
      • It's the plan of a helpful neighbour

      • should i call police

and ask if anyone's reported one missing,?

        Frances14 @Frances14 | 22 Apr '07, 19:57 | X
        • cos then if they say no

they might say keep it and i wouldn't have a conscions about it

          Frances14 @Frances14 | 22 Apr '07, 19:57 | X
          • better yet

take the bike, post the note along with a small piece of the bike, and ask them if they ever wanna see the bike again leave £x somewhere where you can collect it, then use £x to buy nice new shiny bike for youself.
            everyone's a winner. well, nearly.

            • lol

              but it's no-ones.
              who would i bribe?

              Frances14 @hell85 | 22 Apr '07, 20:00 | X
              • which ever neighbour responds to the note

clearly you've never held anything ransom before!
which is a good thing, well done.

                hell85 @Frances14 | 22 Apr '07, 20:02 | X
          • That involves lots of effort.

I say steal it and store it somewhere hidden. Maybe spray it a different colour.

            Problem solved!

            Thom_fa @Mr_JDTraynor | 22 Apr '07, 19:59 | X
            • but it's quite a friendly neighbourhood

and everyone's front room windows are open cos of the heat so everyone i babysit for would think i was stealing the bike that they so morally left

              Frances14 @Thom_fa | 22 Apr '07, 20:01 | X
              • mm

i think i'll do the Traynor thing and maybe the police thing too

                Frances14 @Frances14 | 22 Apr '07, 20:03 | X
                • that would be the 'moral'

                  thing to do.

                  Thom_fa @Frances14 | 22 Apr '07, 20:05 | X
                • "i think i'll do the Traynor thing"
