Or had any strong emotional impact on you?
I get so angry I get cramp in my feet.
maybe when a show finished or something, i cant think of any examples right now though
hmm maybe not cry but definite emotional impact from:
Boys From The Black Stuff
Our Friends In The North
hmm also obviously anything to do with the holocaust, especially as my grandfather was one of the british soldiers at belsen
...it's just unremitting. I remember it finishing and feeling kind of dumbstruck.
On a similar note, the War Game.
i was also going to say Threads
my brain amalgamated Boys From The Black Stuff and Our Friends In The North into Fist Of The North Star. buh?
arrested development when George Micheal shows Micheal the videotape of his (Micheal's) girlfriend trying to eat wax fruit and he realizes what everyone already knows :she's a MR F: a mentally retarded female
I cried at this part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KYmvc--Ouo
I almost cried for real at the end of the last season of The Shield, but at the last minute decided I was too manly and didn't.
not crying, but the tragedy that it has become saddens me every day
how? why? the pain etc.
But for different reasons.
cause, boys, don't cry...
in the history of human crying have so many tears been shed by so many for so few...
on quite a few occasions.
of babylon 5 made me cry. i'm such a big gayer.
also, the "jurassic bark" episode of futurama makes me weepy EVERY DAMN TIME i watch it. poor seymour :(
I cry when people get kicked out of Pop Idol.
I know, I'm a lamewad. Go away.
on numerous occasions. Actually.
does that count? About Stever Prefontane, starring Jared Leto, complete with handlebar moustache. Quite a sad ending.
me and my sisters faces were streaming with tears!
finishing angel is what actually inspired this thread.
certain people dying in it felt so wrong and left me feeling very upset and indignant.
oooh don't tell me what happens in Angel, I'll eventually get round to watching it in order soon (once I bother to buy the dvds!)
i almost put spoilers in ther but then i thought i might accidently ruin it for someone. good thing i didnt!
but all the testosterone pumping through my body when watching 24 prevents me from crying...
the one when brendan fraser dies is good aswell
THAT episode in the final season, you know the one I mean if you've seen it.
cos it was the episode where keenan was moving away and they were almost not friends any more.
It had such an impact because my best friend moved to dundee and i empathised with kel.
Life hasnt been the same since ='(
on a few occasions. Most notably Kirsten's intervention and the last 10 minutes or so of the season 4 finale.
I'm sure ER made me cry a couple of times, but I haven't watched it in ages.
I have cried at the end of each season finale. I can't even begin to imagine what i'll be like by the end of the last ever one on Tuesday :-(
The Christmas one, when Homer knows they have no money but wants them to have a happy Christmas... and he buys Maggie that squeaky dog toy :'(
I think I was already quite depressed upon watching that episode, and it tipped me over the edge.
Also: when Buffy's mum dies. Every time.
And there's sad happenings, I will cry. Lots.
I guess Lost is the main one I can think of - i.e. boone/shannon deaths.
But yeah, if the person making the show wants me to cry, I'll cry.
in case anyone cares
somewhere over the rainboooww.
i blub properly every time i watch it. seriously. i wish i could cry more often.
That episode where the young female doctor (Lucy?) died and a couple of kids were orphaned IN THE SAME EPISODE slays me.
of blackadder goes forth was pretty much and suprisingly emotional
i remember crying to this when i was a kid. really special.
probably the best end to a sitcom series ever.
I've been know to sprout the odd tear to Scrubs. Tears of laughter are often incurred when watching South Park - I watched 'Woodland Critter Christmas' last night: hysterical!
I'm so lame.
Broke my heart, it did.
