if he was 21. He is right though.
that's never going to happen.
Julio Baptista would be earning negative figures each week.
I was reading an article in World Soccer last night that said that Baptista has proved to be one of only 4 successful Brazilians to play in England's top flight.
even kleberson was better than baptista
he was ace.
Mirandinha, Juninho and Gilberto - plus Baptista. They seemed to base their reasoning about Julio purely on his goals against Liverpool in the Carling Cup.
are you people making him up? is there some kind of joke i'm missing here?
He played for Newcastle in the late 80s. First Brazilian to play in England.
in like, 1988 or something. It was a terrible 0-0 draw at St James' with Luton. It's a miracle I ever went back.
gilberto (goood one oleg)
denilson looks likely.
i only notice his existence when he hits a good free kick.
he's still been better than baptista though.
hits a good free kick dude.
He's gotten better recently, though.
was always underrated I thought.
its too early
I'd suggest a more NFL-style wage cap - with the squad selectively deciding whether a certain player or players deserve more based on their skill and performance.
i don't 'do' american football.
do a bit less talking. I agree with him on some things but I think he thinks he's more important than he is.
But he's shit in the air.
but still probably the best keeper in the premiership this year along with ben foster
and the best named Brazilian to play in Britain ever, even if it was for Celtic:-
Rafael Scheidt (pronounced "shite", which a hoop supoporting friend informs me he was)
he cost about 6 million and looked and played awful. And this is against teams like Motherwell.
John Barnes signed him, enough said there, allegedly Barnes had only watched an edited video of highlights of the guy.
then. And he was s(c)h(e)i(d)te too.
or allow myself to be bummed by him
was 'festa' brazillian?
