No reflection on the quality of the programmes [I say this just so I don't have to defend my watching of The 4400]
The Actual Best Intro Ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYPv6KfDFW8
I've never actually heard of them...
Is an amazing show which is never done justice by description. It's definitely a feel-good show, and the humour in it is perfect. The characters are the most likeable ever.
The second is a sci-fi show that's like a lot of other sci-fi shows, but less complicated and more watchable.
End of thread
Check out that sexy sax, those chiselled jaws, and those sultry botox pouts. These people's hormones are raging so hard that they apparently can't even stand still.
the best use of soliloquy since Shakespeare passed.
ohmygod gilmore girls! why don't they show it on tv here (or do they?) i've been to the studio where they film the 'town centre' and the gilmore house. yep.
That's the most exciting thing I've heard all day. Is Luke's there? Did you see Luke's?
I think it's shown on some Sky channel, but I'm not sure. I wish they'd hurry up and release S 4/5/6 on DVD.
allowed to get off the golf-carts thingie so couldn't get a closer look at Luke's, just around the band-stand in the centre of town bit.
but we actually went inside the gilmore house, it was tiny! i'm surprised how they could fit the cameras and actors in there. lots of cute little knick-knacks.
(fyi it's the WB burbank studio tour if you wanna go!! but is the series still continuing in the u.s.? i should get the dvds.)
as to whether the series currently being shown in the US [S7], is going to be the last one or not. I know Alexis really wants to quit, and Lauren has said she won't carry on in a show without her - so I don't see how they could continue it. Probably just as well though, it's gone down hill a lot [still one of the best shows out there, but lost quite a lot of its charm].
i didn't know they're up to S7 already! i still remember watching older episodes where seth cohen (well the actor) was in - before he appeared in the o.c.! i love all the musical references they throw in in the rapid-fire dialogue and the quirky characters. aw.
this is an art attack
THIS IS ART ATTACK
art attack jumper!
was a childhood hero of mine. Remember that show that was primarily aimed at deaf kids? The set was like a giant comic book, and the camera would swoop in on one of the frames and a little skit would play out. Neil Buchanan played a French-looking artist, complete with beret and little black moustache. Everybody spoke half-formed deaf-person's English. A bit like Mr Bean.
Him and Rolf Harris are why I am doing what I am doing today.
(I work as a designer)
Neil Buchanan and Rolfie are why I'm doing what I do today.
(I'm on the dole)
While making those big things where it zooms out, and you're like "Oh, it's a giraffe!"
we used to call christopher in our year 5 class Kissifer, he hated it.
The Avengers (IN COLOUR) and
is that good...
Party of Five is definitely the winner.
Are you in mine and G-Funk's wonderful TV intros club?
All those long nights...
It's the television equivalent of a snowy day, sat by the fire in a blanket with a mug of cocoa. Perfect.
and so girly.
I can take girly. But yeah, too much.
I'm so getting the DVDs when I can afford it
Then we're moving in together.
Can I be Matthew Fox!?
Who do you want to be?
After all: 'She's so lesbian'.
they had these 5 minute Tintin cartoons when I was young. You'd never manage to see an 'adventure' the whole way through, even though they only ever seemed to be showing Golden Crab. The intro was ace, i vaguely remember it had a plane flyin by, and the voice over man went "HERGE'S! ADVERNTURES! OF! TIN! TIN!"
also, does anyone know where i can get the buzzer sound from?!?!
