why does fire make noise?
when i turn the gas tap on, no noise, or very little noise
when i light the gas, noise
makes the air around it rush around a lot, maing vibrations and noise?
screaming in unison
which liek, vibrates and shit. so you get noise.
when you heat something the particles in it get excited, get more energy, and therefore vibrate more.
and vibration = sound.
The fire needs air around it for fuel.
In that short instance when it ignites, air rushes in from around it to fuel it.
Hence the woosh.
is just because there's lots of gas. and it burns it all off.
once it's lit the stream of gas is much less.
