And the local chavs all congregate to take on said gypsies at the punching machine
We had a ride called the Hearts & Diamonds at my yearly fair, and it is quite possibly the most dangerous thing I've even been involved in. It spins upside down, and there are no security harnesses to hold you in. It's just the speed of the spin holding you against the seat that stops you plummeting to certain death
There was a running street battle between Somalian youths and Asians. Was reasonably amusing.
a ride called 'Freddy's Revenge' scared me off them for a while. the 'thrill' of the ride seems to be finding out how much G-force it'll take until you don't actually have any skin left on your face any more.
the closest we got to any chavbattle fun was a group of over-aggressive bumpers on the dodgems. pah.
particularly as most of it took place outside the headquarters of South Wales Police. And it looked almost exactly like a Benny Hill chase scene. somalian youths run past, followed by asian youths. 10 seconds later, Asian youths run past in the opposite direction, chased by Somalian youths. Repeat X 15 = funny.
in the summer they combine funfairs with minimal techno. its well good.
I <3 Barry Island Rollerdome.
there was only one good ride anyway. the little rollercoaster thing. something ninja? or dragon? or snake? the viper! awesome.
this is just more convenient.
oh yeah, you might be able to help me with something. there's a picture from that night we saw the walkmen at barfly that i really don't remember taking. it's some short guy with cropped hair and he's doing some sort of posey dance move.
any idea who i'm on about?
Let me see!
I was about 6.7 out of 10 drunk, I reckon.
