Smelling like you did when you were 14

starshaped [Edit] [Delete] 89 replies 10:54, 11 April '07

On a whim yesterday, whilst shopping in Asda, I purchased some Impulse body spray. I haven't worn this stuff for years. It's making me all nostalgic (something I know everyone round here loves to be). I smell so good, but not unlike a teenager.

What did you smell like when you were 14?

    • I went to a girls school

and one of the girls in my class used to wear lynx to remind her of her boyfriend. ensuing result was lots of wistful looks as she wafted past everyone.

Impulse 02 was my spray of choice. get in.

      • O2 was my choice too

but this time I bought their limited edition 'New York' Fragrance.

of you guys on here, who still wears Lynx?!!

I find it bizarre you'd want to smell like a teenage boy....unless that's the market you're aiming for of course

      • My brother (25) still uses

it. I couldn't find my right guard the other week so I used a spray of his lynx. It smelled alright actually.

don't get sucked in. always remember, when you're working hard(a) Right Guards working harder.

you don't get that kind of promise with lynx, I believe their most recent campaign is offering you 'boom chicka boom boom' or something.

end up having to use whatever deoderant I'm not allergic to. Lynx deoderant and shower gels make my skin bubble and fall off, it is like using napalm. Simple used to do a deoderant that was ok, though I think that was just air in a compressed canister. And because I liked it, they stopped producing it. I think I am down to Vaseline deoderants now.

Mind you, I didn't start using deoderants at all until I was 27
