Southampton i guess.
temple herdwick's main claim to fame, according to google, is that i lived there and mentioned it in a DiS thread once
but I went to school in Driffield.
Two wildly different towns
I am a Revenant
well, nearby, anyway.
going to Summerslam at Wembley stadium with my dad and brother. I was seven and it was the best thing ever
wonderful world that is Neasden
Highlight of my year, hireing a bouncy castle inside the local leasure centre. I was the coolest kid in town after that rave.
although probably not all year.
i might have gone to north wales that year.
THAT'S NEAR PORTSMOUTH, I think.
i was in Norfolk, VA.
it sounds like Board On.
i'm guessing though.
I have one home video from when I was 3, and the whole town looked pretty run down.
I actually kinda like this.
Where were you in 97?
isn't the name of the new MIA song that's been remixed by Kicks Like A Mule now, is it? And hence doesn't really have the same ring to it.
i was...in Southampton.
I was hoping that'd be vaguely more interesting.
Anyway, I have all my taped Gilmore Girls watched, and my iPod updated. And I haven't had caffeine for a few hours, so hopefully I can get some shut-eye.
I rarely come onto DiS in the middle of the night, 17 users online is weird.
as you can see.
the time of my life
felt this way before
gilmore girls finishes after the next season.
I think I'm on the middley sorta series at the moment.
Hmm, anyway, I was in London, starting my A-Levels. Woo.
i feel homesick. a bit. now.
In Chatham, I'd started Junior School and life was very exciting!
I think that year I had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles party and my mum made turtle bandana eyes for me and all my friends at my party. very cool. I still have mine somewhere. party food was obligatory pizza and also 'sewer water' as the drink (lemonade with green food colouring). We went all out.
and, living on the side of a mountain in the 'wicklow mountains', going to a teensy twee primary school which had 100 pupils and three teachers.
Same house. Same room.
It's a lovely place, bring the family.
crash in Maldon when I was about 8. Scared the crap out of me. I enjoyed the visit to Maldon Town last season, Maldon >>> Heybridge.
I used to play for Maldon Town Under 16s. The ground is a lot better now than when I was playing. It just used to be a field and a wooden hut.
5th year at school (it's called year 11 now I think)
The year I discovered 'alternative rock'.
You're not 30? Are you?
but nearly 30.
what moisturiser do you use?
which is near Alfreton.
Whereabouts in the motherland are you from?
in year 6 of primary school.
just moved there from slough. I missed slough.
I was just starting senior school
busy being 10 years old
I was at college after all. NO worries, I'll nail my own lid down.
It's very weird to think that I was a 13 year-old kid living in wartime Croatia.. 1992-94 were HORRIBLE years and they had a big effect on who I am now.
are my favourite SWOS team, does that help?
Yeah, a little :)
and it was hard to believe it was a war zone not so long ago.
Trying to become a teacher.
Sadly I didn't fail...
How exciting, well actually a city like Reading was an exciting place for a 7 year old child like me.
and would be having english in Mr Dowsing's class at Southgate West Middle School in Crawley.
My Dad works there. Nice place. The market r00ls.
all pickpockets, tourist trinkets and overpriced crap. The butchers is still good though.
well. The hotel i stayed in was nice.
The White Hart Royal hotel there is nice.
i'm not sure though. Sorry.
there's no need to apologize.
for that use of a 'z' though.
I was in Norfolk, i think. Some forces base somewhere, anyway.
running around like a mad thing learning to speak.
living in edinburgh in probably the best house ever, and going to the best nursery.
I wanna start again from 2 years old :(
and had a 3yr old little girl and life was good :)
Being born, in Edgeware.
watching the Guns and Roses tour on video, playing all the Ramones albums in sequence on vinyl
went to Summerslam 92!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Literally greatest day of my life! Fuck...and what a Summerslam it was!! I was one of the only 11 year olds who had the early sense to recognise Warrior as an idiot and to cheer for Randy Savage and was also marking out to Perfect and Flair being there. Such good taste in wrestlers even from an early age.
Other than that in 92 I started at Haverstock Secondary, in Chalk Farm, along with the likes of Joe Cole and Marlon Harewood (the hardest kid in the school I seem to remember). Great times indeed.
