Hate him. Lots.
It's The Fall!
They were bog-standard interview questions.
Lauren Laverne's all-time hero is Mark E. Smith of The Fall.
according to wikipedia! that certainly didn't come across.
I love The Horrors after seeing Jack Penate.

THESE PEOPLE CAN NOT BE REAL. Only in London.
that segment left me speechless
It almost sounded like Jones' voice over was taking the piss. Unfortunately, i don't think it was.
People depress me, big style.
i really can't imagine he was being serious.
though he does always speak in a similiarly smarmy tone
'We're just ambitious people looking to do something creative'. Like conforming to a magazine-created genre. Where the fuck ARE these nu-rave parties happening anyway? No love on Golders Green?
for the first time tonight. Steve Jones... what the hell's his problem?
that Punka was by far the worst Kenickie single? huh?
The Get In singles were I Would Fix You, which was ace, and Stay In The Sun, which by coincidence I've just seen on The Vault's Chart Show rerun and realised that if it weren't produced by a mouse it'd sound exactly like all the new electropop Popjustice goes on about.
Come Out 2Nite, which as we all know outranks pretty much everything ever, was technically a single from At The Club, surely, if we're counting Millionaire Sweeper? I was never as big a fan of In Your Car as most, so I'd off the top of my head rank those four:
Punka (entirely a diss at their ex-label, of course)
In Your Car
and it was pretty much the most depressing half an hour of my life.
Honestly, it makes me angry.
