I want...the Criterion edition of This Is Spinal Tap. The picture's not nearly as good as the MGM version but it has an exclusive commentary.
just about ALWAYS have the best source materials, and they never ever use incorrect aspect ratios or incorrect sound mixes.
them and masters of cinema (uk based) are a film nerds dream
That old Spinal Tap is well-known to not have the best picture quality. Not all their discs are the best if you just want the film these days, either, since they go back such a distance.
very good, my copy is only a very worn out video copy. might try and update it someday
I have If.... on video, but its worn out from too many plays. The DVD comes out the day before by birthday, so hopefully a friend of family member will know me well enough to get it for me.
I also have Army in the Shadows on DVD. BFI version, got it cheap. Perks.
is region 1, obviously, so you'd need to order it
