hella good film, on a par with Football Factory.
I think Danny Dyer is one of the finest actors of this generation.
sarcasm count off the level!
I watched it for the second time last night and it's still really fresh. Some awesome lines in it as well...it's all in the delivery:
"He's just like Robin Hood, only he steals from the rich and gives to himself. Probably shoots their family along the way aswell, just for fun"
"The Moroccans are thieving cunts - it's in their blood."
"His bed made itself in the fucking morning...that's how cool he was."
"You remember my Dad saying 'stay away from crime, women & drugs?' Well what a load of bollocks that turned out to be!"
hours however long that shit was of my life back.
movie. Myself and a friend are in the middle of writing our own screenplay at the moment and watching any film by nick love just gives me more encouragement. Total rubbish. cheesy lines, crowd pleasing senarios and more importantly, none of it is remotely believable!
Football Factory though. I think that is by far the worst (and most unrealistic) film about football violence to be honest. If you like that kind of thing try 'The Firm' with Gary Oldman or 'Arrivederci Millwall' with Tim Roth.
it for the first time last night and decided the film was ok, but Danny Dyer is a terrible actor who can only do miffed East London wannabes. All thoroughout the film, I kept wondering why a plank of wood was the main character....
