i <3 lentil soup
1 Onion (finely chopped!)
1 Clove of Garlic
2 tbsp stock
some vegetables, chopped to about this size (arrow with a diagram showing them about just less than 1 cm thick and about 2 cm wide) - leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips etc etc.
1 Handful dry red lentils
> fry the onions & garlic in oil til the onions are soft and translucent. add the vegetables and cook for about 10 minutes. Then add the water, stock powder and lentils and leave to cook for at least 30 minutes (preferably longer) add more water if it gets too sto(d?)gy.
can this be done with green lentils too?
also use vegetable stock powder, obviously!
their food is yum.
