I hate them. Why do their fans think they are a successful club? dicks.
come up here and try telling people newcastle aren't a MASSIVE club
the lost time they won anything their fat geordie cunt of a record signing cheated it for them anyway.
have won more than Newcastle.
(I won the coca-cola cup in 1995 singlehanded despite being 10 at the time)
have won more than Newcastle and we've only been together a year.
hahaha its so true
a few of my mates down here are convinced that next season is 'their' season.
what for? relegation?
Finishing 12th rather than 15th. It's the new mark of success.
and yet no fucker ever labels us a massive club.
history agrees with us. We've been through a decade or so of being shit, but we've always been there or there abouts before that. Presumably, the fact that many of us can remember being any good means we still cling on to the hope we may be so again, and we are gradually improving. We're still the team outside the top 4 with the most potential to start to snap at the ankle of the fourth place team regularly, but its going to take time, experience for our young side and a few signings yet, but its coming.
What on earth is there to hate about Spurs? We're not mega-rich bulk buyers, we haven't a bunch of diving bastards, we don't win everything to make people jealous, whats to hate?
Paul Gascoigne. Cheating bastard. Remember?
but he got instant retribution, so I wouldn't worry about it. That was the day that my dad tried to make me a Forest fan but ended up cementing Spurs in my heart. That technically made me an 8 year old glory supporter, but I've done my time now.
Spurs. I actually think you're one of the best footballing sides in the country at the minute, just behind Man U and Arsenal, but with that dodgy defence you're not going to win a great deal.
Forest's goal should have been disallowed anyways and Gazza hardly did us any favours by breaking his entire body in that challenge.
Spurs consitently try and do things with a little flair which often has disatrous results (Ossie Ardiles playing 10 men up front?) but at the moment seems to be doing ok. We also support a load of young english talent and we're not bankrolled by a russian gazillionaire. I'd say we're fairly likeable....
If Milford hadn't bottled it and sent fat Geordie Gascoigne off for the first challenge (not the second one which you're referring to) then he wouldn't have been injured and we would have rightfully played 85 minutes against 10 men.
AND Pearce's free kick would never had gone in had Gary Parker (?) not pushed our entire wall out of the way...cheating forest scummer! Anyways, Des Walker, a true and honest man, knew which result was right and did the honourable thing...
though. Just wish Dessie was still playing for us now. And Psycho. And Garry Parker...
I loved Des Walker as well. I have empathy for Forest and to a lesser degree Leicester City still.
But yes. We need to strengthen our defence and not be naive enough to think Ledley will solve everything. He's vital, he'll make a difference, but he's made of glass and we need cover.
a good youth set up at Spurs, so why not give some of them a go rather than keep wasting money on dodgy unknown foreigners?
but we need some experience stability in there too while they develop, and thats expense we can't afford, so we have to try and find someone cheapish.
Rocha's no mug and Lee does a job a left back...
ENGLISH players in the lower leagues.
It's time there was a cap on the number of foreign imports as quite obviously, Rocha et al aren't up to the job as your league position testifies.
which is why we bought him. Chimbonda and Dawson are superb defenders, there aren't many better in the PL, Lee's not great, i damit, but he's solid enough and gives us good attacking options.

I've been e-stalking you for months!
Anyway, this is a football discussion, you wouldn't understand. I think someone's just piped up re: the alleged stain'd/creed collaboration over on the music forum. Go check!
Weren't you a Staind roadie a while back, the runner who supplied the bald lad with with all the fags?
Anyways, i've seen your collection of Puddle of Mudd promotional muddied pants so watch yourself or the truth will out.
I do think that Jol has finally got Spurs on track. And despite not really knowing how to bring the best out of strikers, he has unearthed a real find in Berbatov.
The really hard thing will be to make the step from being a side who regularly qualifies for the UEFA Cup to a side that can get into the Champions League.
is the first step which we've yet to prove we've made!
Although getting this far in the cup (and looking so good in it) is an improvement on the last 20 or so seasons...
..but yes. We're good again. If the miserable WHL regulars start chanting for Jol's head again I will burn the place down. Still fear the sale of Berbatov in summer mind you. I wish we still had Carrick, but then we'd have every centre midfielder in the premiership.
they have 'Holsten' back as their sponsors.
and it didn't work.
I'm a West Ham fan, and I quite like Spurs at the moment. Great team to watch - can't deny that.
White Hart Lane is a dull fucking ground though and the chants are crap, apart from "he's got no hair, we don't care, Martin, Martin, Jol"
The Automatic - Monster / Right Wing / Chimbonda effort, I do not know. But our lot are fairly good usually, certainly the few times I've been over the past few years. Better than the fans of certain near neighbours at least. (Looks towards Ashburton Grove)
Hurrah for Tony!
