fuck i used to love my clarks patent leather shoes with the key in the bottom.
it has surfaced two thoughts in my brain:
1) the 1980s were horrid.
2) i hate shoes
and get our penis's out.
I'm conforming today to public decency and keeping it inside my trousers. I'll get it out if you like though.
I used to love that. I want one.
that the bars wouldn't stop moving and my foot would be crushed.
I wish that had happened, to both of you. sadstump and joeynotoes.
with putting my foot in and then take it out before they could take the measurement. When I finally calmed down it was a lovely experience
And that advert is ace!
I loved my all my key shoes.
Also, important question, what were those t-bar shoes called, they were fabricy and I think from Clarks. I swear they had a name, and it's been totally annoying me.
I think, like a clip thingy.
Fabric, t-bar, a clip-buckle kind of fastening. I had a million pairs - it was a whole range of them.
Were they called Doodles? That rings a bell...
They were called Doodles!
and finally got a pair and then wore them to school for a week and scuffed them up and you couldn't see the key anymore.
they were white and pretty.
With flowers on the toes. I'd polish them every day after school.
And white ones for Summer!
But I went on holiday and lost them in sinking-mud. It was a horrible experience.
surely that's some kind of film myth?!
that got an out loud 'oh' from me and everything.
yeah it did! the platform it was on got stuck and it DIED.
no word of a lie
no? no?!! oh.
I was talking about this just the other day with someone about how much I actually loved this advert. It's as magical as I remembered it. talk about good marketing.
my sister got a pair of key shoes and I didn't. till this day that still irks me.
how evil are clarks' clerks huh?
be those shoes that had a compass in the heel? Like you're gonna be lost in the forest and say "It's OK, I'll just take my shoe off and I'll be able to find out exactly where we are..."
you'd make a mint!!
they should bring back they key shoes too.
And only 3 pairs were sold, I wonder why...
Dunno who bought the other two.
when I was younger, I had really bad problems with my hips & legs and had to have loads of physio and callipers to 'fix' them. It was the happiest day of my young life when I was allowed a pair of magic key shoes!
I'm not a girl.
But I REALLY wanted to find out what girls talk about.
Turns out, I prefer men talks. Not about men. Manly talks.
