What is your problem. Is it just the cricket team or the country as a whole?
is a great name for a TV show.
in a recent stint on a reality TV show? If not, it's a non-starter.
maybe he should come to Radlett. Mind you they'd like such sentiments here
like the way they approach the game because that is how I play sport.
Look at the way Shane Warne over-appeals and the way they celebrate in faces.
additionally, that they take such vehement offence whenever accused of being in the wrong, cheating or otherwise, whether guilty or not, is poor. The PCB's loyalty is undoubtedly first and foremost toward it's own team, rather than the laws of the game, and that's poor. See: getting suspended drug users off and back playing on technicalities.
but if Inzy keeps falling over his wicket they're well worth a watch.
mohammad yousuf has a splendid beard
I can support this claim, with this recent MSN conversation clip:
But... but the Red Indians were there first!
SO WHAT!? I HATE THEM. Damned Indians. The cowboys showed them good and proper.
Please stop. Such hatred. Such utter, relentless hatred.
I'm saying he's a racist
you must have entrapped him, with such past form as this:
You know who i hate?
I love you so much.
What's the weird religious thing with the team - eg. Yousef Youhanna 'converting' and the team being pretty public about their prayer sessions etc.
Obv freedom of religion etc is their right but it all seemed a little strange.
they're observing religious practices observed by millions
grates on me a bit
At some point over the last few years it's become an overt thing with the Pakistan team. Inzi always mentions it in interviews and attributed victories to the strong religious aspect of the side.
I think only Kaneiria isn't Muslim in the team now? And Akhtar's got lots of stick for the 'western' lifestyle he leads compared ot the rest of them.
of what should be a private introspective act. It all feels a bit forced.
when a Spanish player crosses himself when entering the pitch, scoring a goal, etc?
Just to clear this up: i am not anti-religion or anti-Pakistani or anything like that.
It's just the overtness of the whole thing that annoys. Yes, people crossing themselves on the pitch, US sports stars dedicating wins to Jesus etc all grate on me slightly, although it's hardly a major thing.
As for the Shoaib stick evidence - well, I haven't written it down but I know I read it somewhere and I didn't make it up for a laugh, FFS.
he's a LEGEND!
If you dislike anyone who is black or asian, or if you aren't a fan of religion, you're a nazi.
in pakistan, given that theyre muslims.
This smacks of English colonial superiority. Well, I have two words for you: Ian Botham.
You're right, Botham is much worse.
Your words, not mine.
I didn't call you a racist, I was just pointing out the assumed moral superiority that seems to be endemic in England. The way Johnny foreigner needs to be taught a lesson in sportsmanship (and I'm not just referring to Pakistan, ask Alan Shearer or Gareth Southgate).
You just keep telling yourself that.
There just happens to be a foreigner in charge of Chelsea, don'tcha know.
Whilst Inzamam and his players may not have been angels earlier this year, Darrell Hair - Mr 'Please Wipe This All Under The Carpet By Paying Me Off With Lots Of Money, ICC!' Darrell Hair - is DEFINITELY one of the world's most massive twats and needed putting in his place.
The whole Akhtar/Asif thing is a bit murky, granted - and Wasim Akram managed to get away with being openly racist without many people batting an eyelid* - but what about Mark Waugh/Herschelle Gibbs/Marlon Samuels/Mike Atherton/far too many English cricketers in apartheid-era South Africa in the 1980s, and the controversies surrounding them over the years?
*(Wasim accused the ICC of being 'run by a bunch of fucking goras', when Ehsan Mani, a Bangladeshi Muslim, was its president. Then again, Herschelle Gibbs also said 'get back to the fucking zoo' to a hostile crowd on the subcontinent, and Ian Botham said Pakistan was a place he 'wouldn't send his mother-in-law'.)
I don't think Pigfoot is racist and I think casual accusations of racism do nothing to help anyone.
'goras' = pejorative term for white people.
Darrell Hair 'one of the world's most massive twats' :D.
the mighty Dwayne Leverock on your profile pic.
What people don't know is that he is ALWAYS Bermuda's best bowler by a country mile and not just against us lot.
I picked him for my fantasy league team without knowing who he was (I just went for people with good names). Then I find out he is cricket's version of Andy Fordham. I'm in love.
MABYE U SHOULD OF WATCHED IT YOU RACIST CFUK
that she's her off ER? She comes from Leicester.
