Girlfriend wanted to rent it today. We did. I enjoyed it.
Do psychiatrists work on Sundays?
Now take a seat
well, it engrossed me from the start really. When that crazy KT Tunstall intro kicked in, supplemented by images of women putting on skirts, shirts and shoes...I just melted.
inside. A rush of Serotonin. I want to feel that way again.
my girlfriend RETURNED it. And I'm skint.
My work here is done!
the feeling is back. I can't thank you enough.
but hitmen do. *dials*
I like fashion...not DEATH.
they're the same. you have to learn when. or, you get death in the face.
and then think "woah, fuck, i've just put on a load of death! AGAIN!"
to me too often already to let film like this remind me of it.
Meryl Streep's in it. That's usually enough for me.
icy hot. I was satisfied.
awful, i've lost all respect for her.
of the one film?
Christ, maybe I shouldn't see it then.
'the stepford wives'
'the banger sisters'
I never expected much from the film itself, but I figured Meryl would elevate it.

don't have a heart.
But this was truly shite.

and Anne Hathaway is THE MOST ANNOYING actress, after Naomi Watts, I've come across. She has googly eyes and her demeanour really bothered me for some reason.
Good clothes in it, tho.. but that was really about it.
Also - I read the book AND THEY CHANGED THE ENDING FOR HOLLYWOOD. Stupid America. The book has a nasty ending!! She gets fucked over by the editor in a big way.
Christ, why am I even bothering.
But other than that, I thought it was fantastic in terms of an easy-watching, "girly" film. Also, it has Azure Ray on the soundtrack, which was a nice surprise.
